Since 1998, the Software Solved team have delivered over 1,000 successful software development projects for some of the UK’s most innovative brands. Having worked with a wide variety of businesses, from insurers, charities, public sector organisations and SMEs, the Software Solved team has the experience and expertise to develop world-class solutions.
The South West has one of the strongest digital communities in the UK, with close to 10,000 tech companies across the region, software Solved being one them. This is both an opportunity and a challenge. There is wealth of talent and innovation happening all over the South West, and this is a growing trend presenting opportunities for nurturing and retaining talent and attracting inward investment.
The challenge, however, is the lack of noise. Many of the businesses are small and often niche, so the wider world does not get to hear about the great things going on in the South West and give the region the recognition it deserves. This makes it hard at times to attract customers and talent from outside the region, a problem that is not unique to Software Solved.
In 2018/2019 we are working on broad range of very exciting projects. Our work with major UK insurance companies goes from strength to strength, delivering ‘best in class’ risk and claims management platforms and customer portals for a number of the UK’s top Commercial Insurance Firms.
We are also working with a group of UK local authorities to define a new collaborative platform for delivering business support. And finally, we are very pleased to be kicking off a KTP with Plymouth University focussed on AI/Machine Learning in Insurance, with a view to delivering some groundbreaking innovations.
Thanks to Software Solved for giving us an insight into the company. We look forward to welcoming the team to the awards!
The deadline for tickets is Friday 21st September, so you’ve only got a couple of days left if you’d like to join Software Solved and hundreds of innovative nominees & sponsors at the awards on 27th September at Plymouth’s School of Creative Arts.
The evening is an opportunity to highlight, reward and encourage digital innovation whilst enjoying a feast of locally-sourced, gourmet street food.
